Fantastic riverside views and amazing food
I recently stayed for 3 nights in a Deluxe Quadruple Room, and the view of the river was absolutely stunning. The room was spacious with great facilities, perfect for our family. Special shoutout to the staff for their friendly service and the impressive variety of breakfast options that catered to everyone's tastes. I did notice that some areas, like the corners of the room, could use a bit more cleaning attention.

The family room was great, with a massive bathroom and bunk beds for the kids. The view of the river was fantastic. We also enjoyed some meals from the wide menu, and they were superbly cooked! My favorite was the allergen support. it made us feel welcome.

I spent one night at a cozy inn and enjoyed a lovely breakfast that filled me up. The staff were friendly and made me feel welcome during my stay. I appreciated the spacious bedroom and bathroom, even if the area had some cobwebs. The public carpark made it easy to access the place, but I didn't like the noise from outside as I tried to rest.

We stayed in a Deluxe Double Room with Bath. The room was spacious and comfy, with an amazing view of the river. The bathroom had everything we needed, and it felt like it had been recently updated. No noise from the pub below, which was great for relaxing. Just wish the windows had been cleaner.

The room had obviously been refurbished to a high standard, with an exceptionally comfortable bed and an en suite stocked with all the toiletries you could need. I loved relaxing by the riverside terrace and enjoyed the cozy pub atmosphere with its delicious and imaginative food. The only hiccup was a misunderstanding at reception regarding our pre-payment, but they sorted it out quickly once I followed up. 👍

We had a blast staying here with friends! The views were stunning each morning. We visited High Ash Farm, where we enjoyed some rock climbing, and Bawburgh Golf Club was great for a fun day out. The food was delicious, especially breakfast!
The room was clean but the windows were really dirty. It would’ve been nice to have a fridge and better towels too.

Couples will surely enjoy it
Great food and friendly staff. We had the most very nice fish pie. It was loaded with different types of fish cooked perfectly.
A bit pricey, but I guess you get what you pay for.

The Deluxe Twin Room offered a decent amount of space for a relaxing stay. Unique local touches decorated the room, contributing to a nice atmosphere during our two nights.
Accessing the rooms felt a bit odd since you have to check-in at the bar and then trek outside around the pub to find your room. The walk back there at night isn’t exactly inviting. it’s dark and lined with extractor units and rubbish bins. the bathroom ceiling had a bunch of cobwebs, making it feel less inviting, and the doors to the rooms were quite noisy, amplifying sounds from the bar below. Parking can also be a challenge, especially during busy summer days, since it’s a shared public lot and fills up quickly.

Great place for a family stay!
Had a fab time at this cozy pub! The family room was massive with an amazing view. Staff were super friendly and the drinks were top-notch. Just bummed we couldn't try the food since it looked delish. Just a heads up, the toilets were kinda dirty, had to use the public ones. But overall, loved the vibe!
